St George’s Activity Day and Celebration
Sunday 25th April 2027 | Beverley Racecourse
🎉 A DAY OF ADVENTURE, FUN AND CELEBRATION! ⚜️
Get ready for one of the BIGGEST and BEST Scouting events of the year!
Beverley and Hornsea District Scouts and Blacktoft Beacon District Scouts are joining forces once again for our fantastic St George’s Activity Day and Celebration 2027!
Hundreds of Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers will come together at Beverley Racecourse for an action-packed day of activities, challenges, adventure and plenty of fun!
🌟 What’s happening?
There’s something for everyone, with a huge variety of activities and experiences spread across the Racecourse!
From climbing walls, archery and axe throwing to circus skills, crafts, sports, games and much more, there will be loads to discover, try and enjoy throughout the day.
Whether you’re looking to test your skills, try something completely new, take on a challenge or simply have fun with your friends, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained!
The best bit? You get to help choose your adventure!
Young people will explore the activity areas with their Group and adult volunteers, taking part in the activities that interest them, subject to availability, suitability and any activity restrictions. There’s no fixed timetable of activities for everyone to follow, so each young person can enjoy their own experience.
⚜️ Celebrating St George’s Day
After an exciting day of activities, everyone will come together for the highlight of the event – our St George’s Day Parade and Celebration Service!
Young people and volunteers from both Districts will form up for a fantastic parade into the Racecourse Grandstand, where we’ll celebrate everything that makes Scouting special.
We’ll come together to renew our Scout Promises, recognise achievements and celebrate the friendships, adventures and opportunities Scouting brings.
Parents, guardians, family and friends are warmly invited to return to the Racecourse to watch the parade and join us for this special celebration.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to see hundreds of young people proudly representing their Scout Groups and celebrating Scouting together!
One day. Two Districts. Hundreds of young people. Endless adventures!
Further details are available fro your Group Volunteer and via the OSM event,
We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Beverley Racecourse for another unforgettable St George’s Day! ⚜️🎉
