Exciting News – Say Hello to our newest Group Lead Volunteers

We are pleased to announce the appointment of 2 new Group Lead Volunteers for 1st Cherry Burton Scout Group. Dave and Clare White join the District Leadership Team, to drive forward Scouting in 1st Cherry Burton Scout Group.

As Group Lead Volunteers Dave and Clare will share the responsibility of supporting and managing the Scout Group, its volunteers and young people as well as taking an active part in ensuring the Trustee Board facilities Scouting to grow and develop inline with their vision and aims.

Dave and Clare said “We are looking forward to working with the amazing team of existing volunteers to support the work they do for the group.

Also, our joint aim is to ensure all young people and adults have the opportunities they need to achieve great things, learn skills for life and have fun. Supporting the volunteers who are part of the group, as well as recruiting more support is a key focus to see scouting continue and grow in Cherry Burton.”

District Lead Volunteer, Jacob said “I am sure you will join me in welcoming Dave and Clare to the District Leadership Team and I look forward to seeing their fantastic positive energy in driving forward scouting in the group and district.”
