We are pleased to announce the appointment of 2 new Group Lead Volunteers for 1st Leven Scout Group and 1st Hornsea Scout Group. Alex Birtwistle (Leven) and Louise Stanyer (Hornsea) join the District Leadership Team, to drive forward Scouting in their groups.

As Group Lead Volunteers Alex and Louise will work to support and manage the Scout Group, its volunteers and young people as well as taking an active part in ensuring the Trustee Board facilities Scouting to grow and develop inline with their vision and aims.

Alex said “I really looking forward to the opportunity to grow Scouting in Leven, working with a great team of volunteers.”

Louise said “I love Scouting I Hornsea and we have a great team of volunteers who I am looking forward to working with to drive the group forward.”

District Lead Volunteer, Jacob said “I am sure you will join me in welcoming Alex and Louise to the District Leadership Team and I look forward to seeing their fantastic positive energy in driving forward scouting in the group and district.”

Alex and Louise will continue in their section roles, and Jacob will continue to be involved with both groups during a handover period.
