Fencing

Beverley and Hornsea Scouts are thrilled to have their very own Fencing Team. We are committed to delivering amazing sessions of fencing across the district (and maybe further afield!).

Read on to find out more and how you can book the team today!

About Us

The Beverley and Hornsea Fencing Team is made up of 11 volunteers from across the District. The team have undergone the British Fencing Core Coach Course and are committed to delivering Fencing experiences for young people and adults across the district. This could be at a section night, camp or an event. So if you would like to request the fencing team read on!

How to make a request - the process

Step 1: Complete the Fencing Booking Request Form

Step 2: The Fencing Team will review the request to see if we have availability. Please note that as we are volunteers with other roles we might not be available, so a session is not confirmed until you are advised otherwise.

Step 3: Once the booking is confirmed the member of the team leading the session will reach out to you directly to arrange the specifics of your booking.

Step 4: Following the completion of the booking/ session you will be asked to complete a short feedback survey. We will also offer you the opportunity to purchase badges and certificates for those who took part.

What does it cost?

The sessions are delivered for FREE to Beverley and Hornsea Units/ Groups and Events. We only ask for a contribution towards volunteer expenses as appropriate. Any sessions outside of the District will be costed on a case by case basis inline with the guideline tariffs (coming soon)!

Badges and Certificates (coming soon)

Everyone who takes part in a Beverley and Hornsea Fencing session has the option to purchase a Badge and Certificate.
