Growth and Development

The Growth and Development Team in Beverley and Hornsea Scouts is focused on expanding the reach and impact of scouting by supporting the growth of new and existing groups, sections, and volunteers. We help open new sections within groups, grow existing sections to meet demand, and lead in launching brand new scouting groups in areas that need them. Our team works strategically to identify opportunities for growth, ensuring that scouting is accessible to more young people across the community.

In addition to supporting group expansion, we also focus on recruiting new volunteers and providing them with the training and resources they need to succeed. Whether it's running recruitment campaigns, providing tools for volunteer management, or offering ongoing guidance to leaders, we ensure that local groups have the support they need to thrive. Through these efforts, we aim to make scouting more inclusive, welcoming, and impactful, creating more opportunities for young people to experience the benefits of scouting.
