Awards and Recognition
Recognising achievements and thanking volunteers for their contribution to Scouts
Local Awards and Recognition
At Beverley and Hornsea Scouts, we know that our volunteers, young people and supporter organisations go above and beyond to make Scouting incredible. That’s why we’ve introduced two informal awards—a special way to say thank you and celebrate outstanding contributions to Scouting!
🌟 St George’s Day Special Recognition Award
This award is a prestigious way to honour volunteers, young people and supporter organisations who have gone the extra mile in Scouts—whether for a single event, a short-term project, or years of dedicated service.
🙏 Thank You Award
A simple but powerful way to express gratitude! This award is open to any volunteer or young person who has made a difference—whether by organising an event, offering ongoing support, or simply being an unsung hero in our community.
These unique awards have been created just for Beverley and Hornsea Scouts—a way to recognise those who might not meet the criteria for national awards but deserve to be celebrated for their efforts and dedication!
HQ Awards and Recognition
It’s so important that we thank and recognise our fellow Scouts for their incredible service. These are the shining lights who make Scouts possible. There are various awards which are offered through Scouts HQ. These are:
