Are you a Sixer or Seconder or hoping to be one in the near future? If so, then this event is for you! Join us at Melton Campsite for a fun weekend, learning new skills and building on existing ones. With a focus on teamwork, survival skills and the great outdoors, this event isn't one to be missed.

Bookings

Please let us know if you will be attending by booking through OSM. All bookings and payments must be in by 13th June 2025.

Adult Volunteers

To aid attendance from groups, initially, volunteers from groups will not be required to attend. Once we reach our events team ratio limit, groups will need volunteers to attend in order to support more Cubs attending. 

If you would like to help out at the event, please let us know! There is no charge for adult volunteers.

Young Leaders

We'd like to encourage Young Leaders from within the District to support at this event. If you're interested in attending, please let us know. There is no charge for Young Leaders.

What to bring

Cubs will be required to bring their usual camping personal kit. 

All food is included in the price and will be provided for the Cubs and the Volunteers. 

Cub Packs will need to provide the following equipment for their Cubs attending:

• Tents for all members attending
• Cooking equipment - pans suitable for open fires and spatulas/tongs
• Washing up bowls and cleaning supplies
• Old tarps/plastic sheets, old ropes and other suitable shelter building materials
